The race has a new name and sponsor but it promises to deliver the same brand of thrilling NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series action race fans have come to know and love as Las Vegas Motor Speedway presents the 12th annual Qwik Liner Las Vegas 350 on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Qwik Liner (www.qwikliner.com), one of the nation's leaders in truck bedliner coating, has signed on as a multi-year sponsor of LVMS's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event.

The event will be held in the evening on the 1.5-mile superspeedway and racing under the lights always adds excitement to the event.  Todd Bodine won the race in 2005 by just 0.297 sec. over Ted Musgrave

Three drivers - Johnny Benson, Ron Hornaday and Matt Crafton - are locked in a tight points battle for the 2008 series championship and none of the have won a Craftsman Truck Series race at Las Vegas.

One Las Vegas resident -- 2003 winner Brendan Gaughan -- is entered in the Qwik Liner Las Vegas 350.

A free Craftsman Truck Series driver autograph session on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino will kick off the festivities.

Ticket Gate C opens at Noon; ticket Gates A, B, D, G, E open at 3 p.m.
7 a.m. - Garage and registration opens; track services meeting.
8 a.m. - Rookie and spotter meetings; draw for qualifying order.
9-10:15 a.m. - NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice.
10:45 a.m.-Noon - NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series final practice.
Noon - Neon Garage opens; spectator Gate C opens.
12:30-3 p.m. - 600 Racing (Legends Cars, Thunder Roadsters) events on infield oval.
3 p.m. - Spectator gates A, B, D, G and E open.
3:30 - NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying.
5 p.m. - Driver and crew chief meeting.
6 p.m. - Driver introductions.
6:30 p.m. - NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Qwik Liner Las Vegas 350 (146 laps, 219 miles).
7:30 p.m. - Registration closes.
10 p.m. - Neon Garage closes.
